Configure Outlook Express 6 for POP Mail

1. Open up Outlook Express
2. Select Tools menu, click Accounts.
   If the Internet Connection Wizard starts up automatically, skip ahead to step 4.
3. Click Add, and then click Mail to open the Internet Connection Wizard.

   

4. On the Your Name page of the wizard, type your name as you want it to appear to everyone who gets e-mail from you, and then click Next.
5. On the Internet Explorer Address page, type your e-mail address, and then click Next.
6. Make sure POP3 server is selected.  For incoming mail server, enter:  mail.yourdomain ie. mail.joescafe.com
   For Outgoing (SMTP) server, fill in your ISPs smtp server.  You will have to contact your Internet Service Provider to get this information.
7. On the Internet Mail Logon page, type your account name and password. Your account name is the name before the @ symbol of your email address.
   You can choose to check the box labeled save password.
   
8. Click Next, and then click Finish.
